The Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has reacted to arrest of two suspected fraudsters by the men of the Nigerian Police Force, in Lagos State.
While reacting, the Lagos State Police Spokesperson identified the arrested fraudsters as Seyi Demola, aged 26 and Wale Lawson, aged 27, noting that they were arrested by officers from Isokoko Division, following a distress call.
Furthermore, SP Hundeyin disclosed that they were found with two female handbags, cash, and an iPhone. He went on and noted that many people have fallen to their scheme, noting that investigation is ongoing currently.
The Lagos State Police Spokesperson made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Saturday evening, after sharing the pictures of the alleged suspects.
He wrote: "These suspected fraudsters, Seyi Demola, aged 26 and Wale Lawson aged 27 were arrested by officers from Isokoko Division following a distress call. They were found with two female handbags, cash and an iPhone. Preliminary investigation reveals that many people have fallen victim to their scheme. Investigation is ongoing."
