Those pastors who feel a divine calling to quit Living Faith Church and launch their own ministries might learn from Bishop David Oyedepo's example, the church's founder. This was something he spoke about in his sermon at the Leadership Empowerment Summit in July.

He began by stressing the significance of maintaining a strong spiritual connection to ne's spiritual heritage. Although men can see your level of dedication to a man of God, only God can see who is actually linked, in his view, and connectedness is better than commitment

He spoke about how he wants pastors who sense a calling to leave to remain involved in the ministry so that they, too, can produce fruit.

"We held two meetings in this hall, asking for those God might be speaking to to go to the next phase of their ministry," according to him

He informed them:

If God is calling you to the next level of your ministry, we will bless you so that you can return to your roots and continue to bear fruit. When you depart, that is my hope for you. That is, assuming you have a connection. That prayer will be for naught if you aren't.

Additionally, he assured them that he would consistently monitor their ministries' development and urge them to double-check in the event of any major problems.

"Should there be any issue, you have a home, get back in," added the agent. "When I see you going to trouble and I see you are somebody that can be helped, I’ll say can you check it again."
