Walcott claims 17-year-old Nigeria-Eligible talent is among the Premier League's top young players.
Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is excited to witness the rise of the next generation of talent in the Premier League.
Among the players who have impressed him are Arsenal's Nigeria-eligible Ethan Nwaneri and his teammate Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Walcott considers these young stars to be among the top five emerging talents in the league.
"Ethan Nwaneri has had a fantastic start to his career," Walcott told BBC Sport.
"Myles Lewis-Skelly has really come into his own. They're players who are here to stay at Arsenal, and it's exciting to see young talent emerging."
The duo's standout performances, including their goals in Arsenal's 5-1 demolition of Manchester City, have led Walcott to draw comparisons with the club's golden era under Arsène Wenger.
"It's very reminiscent of the Arsène Wenger era when he nurtured young talent, so Mikel Arteta and the academy are clearly doing something right."
Walcott's admiration extends beyond Arsenal, as he's also been impressed by Brighton's Carlos Baleba, Ipswich's Liam Delap, and Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez.
"Carlos Baleba at Brighton... and Liam Delap, who reminds me of an old-school No. 9 like Harry Kane. He's always a threat in behind and gives defenders plenty of problems."
