Earlier in the day, her husband, Francis Atwoli, penned a sweet message to his wife, stating she was an added advantage in his life.
"Happy Birthday, Maria. May our good Lord take care of you and give you more years to come for myself, our family, and friends who all love seeing you around me as you are an added advantage," Atwoli wrote on Facebook.When Kilobi disclosed in 2018 that she was the trade unionist's wedded wife, the two stunned the internet. Their 35-year age difference, however, infuriated most Kenyans.
"In an interview, Atwoli declared that there is no age limit between a man and a woman anywhere in the world."
She was born on July 16, 1984, at Kavula village, which is located in Bumula Sub-County, Bungoma.
The name of her father is Samson Weyusia Kilobi. In April 2020, fans awoke to the sad news about Mary Kilobi father's death.
The death of her father came roughly six months after her brother Emmanuel was shot down by thugs in October last 2019.She began her career in television while interning at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation in Uganda. She spent almost four years with the channel as an anchor, producer, and editor.
After returning to Kenya, she had the good fortune to be recruited by KTN as a reporter or news anchor. She works for the station as a reporter or anchor of Kiswahili news at the moment.
