Following Senator Ireti Kingibe's listing of all the bills and motions to which she has contributed in the National Assembly, some social media users expressed their opinions. Kingibe represents the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
During her one-year retrospective as the Federal Capital Territory's lone senator, she compiled the list on her official X account. Among the many motions to which Ireti Kingibe claimed to have contributed were those pertaining to the abolition of gender-based violence, the Karu fire outbreak and the necessity for safer public spaces, the abducted children of Gwagwalada, security in the FCT, and a number of others.
She also mentioned a number of proposals that she has sponsored, including one to establish a nursing and midwifery school in the Federal Capital Territory, an amendment to the fire service statute, a law to improve maternity and child care in the FCT, and a few others. She assured the residents of the Federal Capital Territory that she will keep working relentlessly to serve them in her job.
