Speaking during the launch of his radio station Crown FM, Ali Kiba said Chris Brown's appreciation of Komosava proves that Tanzanian music is global.
Kiba said Komosava's worldwide appeal is also an achievement, demonstrating Diamond's growth and the permeability of Bongo Flava in the global music scene.
"Diamond outdid himself in this (Komosava). He has touched many people. I don't know how it was, but I am happy to see Chris Brown playing Diamond's song. Diamond is a Bongo Flava artiste, our homegrown star, and we are proud of him. I'd like to see other foreign artistes playing mine or a song by any other artiste from Tanzania. It is a big deal and a good thing for all of us.
