Davido, the popular Afrobeats artist, made a playful yet candid remark about the discrepancy between the amount of money showered on him and his wife, Chioma, at their extravagant wedding on June 25, 2024, and the actual sum they took home.
Despite the grandeur of their wedding ceremony and the lavish display of wealth with guests literally showering them with dollar bills, Davido humorously pointed out that the total amount they received did not match up to their expectations.
In a light-hearted manner, Davido mentioned that the video footage of the money being sprayed on them did not quite add up to what they actually ended up bringing home.
It is noteworthy that this event came after Davido and Chioma's traditional wedding ceremony held in Lagos, which further emphasized the couple's celebration of their love in a glamorous and culturally rich manner.
