"When You Lost An Election, Don't Say They Rigged Me Out, Rig Yourself In'- Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries recently posted a Facebook video in which he exhorted his audience to follow God's lead in Genesis and look forward with optimism instead of dwelling on the past or the problems of the present.

Rather than recognising the darkness, Pastor Ibiyeomie emphasised how God answered by bringing forth light in the creation story found in Genesis 1:1-3. He drew a comparison between the human propensity to dwell on the bad and this heavenly perspective.

He begged his audience to stop dwelling on failures of the past and start talking optimistically about their hopes and dreams for the future. He urged the people to think ahead and take initiative.

He claims that in Genesis, God mentioned that he saw darkness. He refrained from saying, "Darkness oo." Book of Genesis, verses one through three. Did it get dark? Then why didn't God mention night? Why was light a creation of God? That is what He himself expects! "Behold, behold, behold the darkness!" was not his command. "You know, I had a loss at my business last year," you say to everyone you meet. Cut out the BS and focus on the facts. Consider your next expectation now that you've lost the election. "I need an appointment so I can start feeling better." Put down the song: "They cheated me last year." They set you up to fail, therefore you should succeed. Put an end to babbling. Begin by sharing your expectations based on your experiences.
