According to a report by Daily Post Nigeria. The Denro-Ishashi-Akute Road contractor has been given a two-week deadline by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun to finish the project.

Abiodun added that construction would soon start on the highways in the state's Ifo Local Government Area, specifically the Alagbole-Ajuwon and Akute-Ajuwon routes.

Some portions of Akute-Ijoko Road, the road to Yakoyo, and Hercules Giwa (Oke Aro Road) are among the other highways for which contracts will soon be given.

During a road assessment conducted on-site by the local government on Monday, the governor made a speech.

The Denro-Ishashi-Akute Road's construction began approximately three years ago, according to Abiodun, who also stated that the contractor needs to mobilize to the site right away and guarantee the project's completion in two weeks.

First, he declared, "I have given the contractor a marching order to complete the Denro-Ishashi-Akute Road, including the asphalt and the bridge, within the next two weeks."
