According to evening standard; Chelsea goalkeeper Jamie Cumming has traded the bright lights of Stamford Bridge for the more modest surroundings of League One side Oxford United. The 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Kassam Stadium, has made the move permanent after impressing during his temporary stint. 

Cumming's performances were instrumental in Oxford's successful promotion campaign, showcasing his shot-stopping ability, composure under pressure, and ability to command his penalty area. His move to Oxford represents a fresh start for the young goalkeeper, who will be hoping to continue his development and establish himself as a regular starter in the Championship. A club statement read: “The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with U’s in League One, helping them to promotion to the Championship.” 


Tottenham target Jacob Ramsey is not for sale
