I Supported Gov Obaseki And So I Have People Who Still Have Affection For Me -Adams Oshiomhole

According to a report from TheCable news, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, former Governor of Edo State and now Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, asserted that the people of Edo State still hold him in high regard.

He said they do that because of his accomplishments during his governorship.

Oshiomhole made this statement after meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he accompanied APC gubernatorial candidate Monday Okpebholo and deputy gubernatorial candidate Dennis Idahosa.

The former Governor and ex-APC National Chairman highlighted that his endorsement of Godwin Obaseki's gubernatorial candidacy has garnered him loyalty from certain quarters.

He juxtaposed his past achievements with the present circumstances, asserting that the people of Edo State remember his contributions during his tenure as Governor.

Oshiomhole's remarks indicate that his legacy in Edo State remains robust, and his influence continues to have an impact on the populace.

In part of Oshiomhole's words, he said, "I supported Governor Obaseki in Edo State and so I have people who still have affection for me."
