Maxwell Opara, a lawyer, has discussed President Tinubu's alleged connection to the Igbo community.
In a video broadcasted by AIT, Opara asserted that Tinubu's wife, whose mother hails from Delta State, has Igbo ancestry. He expressed widespread expectations that Tinubu, known as a democrat with close ties to Igbo people, would be supportive of the Igbo community. Opara also suggested that people anticipate Tinubu to improve the treatment of Igbo people compared to former President Buhari.
