Today in the morning, reports have emerged on what the deputy president of this country, Hon Rigathi Gachagua has said following a talk between president William Ruto and the young people on Friday.
As reported by Citizen TV, Gachagua who was speaking on his hometown yesterday in the evening lauded Ruto's decision to host a talk on X space. According to Gachagua, what Ruto did was a healthy conversation which is healthy for this country. Gachagua who said that he was following this talk also congratulated the young generation for expressing their concerns saying that everyone has a right to talk and be listened to.
"What the President did was a good beginning. It was a very healthy conversation, I listened in and it was very good.The young people did well to speak and this a new beginning for our country- that everybody matters. Every Kenyan has something to contribute to the wellbeing of our nation, including the young people. In fact, they know more than we do. They have the knowledge we have the experience," he said.
