Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the FCT, stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is aware of Nigerians' suffering and is working to address it.
Nyesom Wike's statement was shared in a video by CHANNELS TV on its official handle on Saturday.
In the video (2:10), Wike mentioned that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu referred to his agenda as "Renewed Hope," indicating his awareness of Nigeria's challenges and the loss of hope among Nigerians.
In Nyesom Wike's words, he disclosed saying, "Mr. President knows that there is problem and that's why he said "Renewed Hope" agenda and not "Hope" agenda. He knows that Nigerians have lost hope. He knows that he must work hard to bring hope back to Nigerians. So, it is not as if Mr. President doesn't know everything that's happening. Don't sit down and let people deceive you that Nigerians are suffering. Who doesn't know that Nigerians are suffering? That's not longer a story."
