Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdulahi has today won round one against the 7 supreme court judges as High Court issues new orders on gag orders by the 7 judges.
The High Court has dismissed an application by Supreme Court Judges that sought to dismiss the Petition by LSK challenging the gag orders issued by the Supreme Court against Ahmednasir SC and his associates
Equally,Court dismissed the prayer by the 7 justices of the Supreme Court who sought to have their names struck out on the basis of judicial immunity.Court noted that the issues raised by LSK were alleged constitutional infractions which can only be determined at full hearing.
Court will determine whether the communication from Supreme Court through its Registrar was an administrative action or judicial decision.
The Supreme court Judges had ordered that the Senior Counsel will not argue a case before them. The judges ordered that his law firm will not argue a case before the apex court .
Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdulahi has been a key critic of the Martha Koome led judiciary over corruption claims.
