GenZs Honour Those Killed During Protests By Erecting Crosses Bearing Their Names, Draped With Flags

The Gen Zs have taken an initiative to proof their unity and pain of losing their friends. They have already thronged at Uhuru Park ready to mark the Saba Saba day by having a memorial concert in remembrance of the deceased souls.

According to photos recently captured at Uhuru Park, the youths were captured busy erecting white crosses bearing names and ages of the dead ones at Uhuru Park. The crosses are draped with Kenyan flags. Among the names are Rex Kanyike Masai, Evans Kiratu, Ibrahim Kamau, Juma Boldras, Mike kihinga, Kennedy Onyango, Kasaine, Clinton, Wanjiku, David Chege,v, Wilson among others.

Kenyans have reacted to this act with mixed reactions. Some acknowledged the efforts the youths are putting in place to remember their friends who stood with them during the protests. They blamed the government for doing nothing about it.

In the other hand, some saw that this is a waste of energy, time, money and resources. They advised the youths to engage in something constructive that can earn them a living.
