Six politicians, (3 from Nairobi, 2 from Central Kenya and 1 from Rift Valley), a businessman from Rift Valley and two NGOs are on government radar for allegedly fuelling ongoing anti-government protest according to intelligence
According to NTV, these politicians have been accused of working with goons in different parts of the country, a move that has caught the attention of the interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki who has stated that the government is not going to allow this.
This is happening at the same time when the former prime minister of Kenya who is also the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, Honorable Raila Odinga has asked why the government has deployed the Kenya Defense Forces in parts of Nairobi.
Raila Odinga who was speaking about the deployment of Kenya Defence Forces in different parts of the country has stated that this should happen only after the police have failed.
President William Ruto on the deployment of the Kenya Defense Forces has stated that this only happens if need be.
