The aftermath of Anti-finance Bill protests were so adverse that we saw people losing their properties, others being destroyed and worse of, lives were lost. Among those who fell victims of circumstances is a 12-year old boy from Ongata Rongai who was shot to death. Citizens claimed that the boy had sustained eight gunshots but government pathological refuted the claims, echoing that he died after being shot one bullet.
President Ruto has come clear to defend police officers over their involvement in this. He claimed that the boy was shot by criminals masquerading as police officers after snatching a gun. He therefore echoed that the police were not involved.
