The senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Ireti Kingibe has stated that she has never sat in the same room with the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike except in the Senate Committee.
She made the statement while she was speaking during a question and answer segment on ARISE TV on Sunday.
She was speaking about her relationship with the FCT Minister when she made the statement. In the viral video that was shared online, Ireti Kingibe said there is nothing that constitutes friendship between the two of them. She said she has never sat in the same room with Wike. She said the truth of the matter is that the FCT Minister has refused to speak or communicate with her.
Ireti Kingibe said;
"I have never sat in the same room with him except in a Senate committee. So how does friendship arise? Why would I want to be the friend of somebody that I don't know? The truth of the matter is that the minister refuses to speak or communicate in anyway with the senator representing the Federal Capital Territory. So how are the wishes and the needs of the people to be communicated to him?".
