The Nigerian Movie Industry has once more been thrown into mourning following the death of Sandra Ikwuegbu.
The sad news was revealed by movie producer, Stanley Nwoko, aka Stanley Ontop via his Instagram page, on Sunday.
The Veteran Actress is stated to have died on June 16 after scuffling with with leg cancer,
The actress’ death comes barely few days after veteran Yoruba actor Dayo Adewunmis death
Her colleagues within the movie enterprise have taken to social media to mourn her.
Another colleague Christy Ejiofor, wrote: “Ukwu Gi Dia. Why? You scaled through several, accidents and all. Eniure/Achiere came, and in less than a week, it killed you. Oh my… I feel bad.

Sandra Ikwuegbu started her profession in 1990, performing in several movies such as ‘Spoiler,’ ‘Ukwa,’ ‘Sound of Love,’ ‘Holy Man,’ ‘Two Hearts,’ ‘Heart of Stone,’ and ‘Madam Koikoi,’ amongst others.
A graduate of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu State, she released her restaurant, ‘The Film Bar,’ on August 1. May her soul rest in peace
