Gen Z have directed President William Ruto to dissolve the Kenya Kwanza government.

This was resolved after hundreds attended a memorial concert at Uhuru Park in Nairobi, in honour of victims of police brutality during anti-government protests, as Kenyans mark Saba Saba.

The youth accused Ruto of promising heaven during campaign which they said have not been delivered.

They vowed to overhaul county governments once National government has been dissolved.

"...We want you to dissolve the government. As Gen-Z we don’t want you. Finally, we will come for you in the counties once we are done with the national government.” Gen-Zs pay tribute to departed protesters at Uhuru Park memorial concert.

He further commended the Senate for supporting the need for austerity demanded by Gen Zs adding that the government is largely ailed by corrupt individuals who keep on looting public resources.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua had asked young people to call off planned peaceful protests to guard against infiltration by criminals.

The Deputy President said the cessation of the protests would give room for security officers to crack down on and deal firmly with criminals.

Senators from both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza have urged Ruto to reduce government expenditure.

The lawmakers' calls for reform came as President Ruto himself acknowledged that his Cabinet "could have done better" in helping him run the government.

In a recent interview, the President said he would be doing "soul searching" on how to move the country forward.
