Bojanala Ambulance Services responded swiftly to an accident on the N4 near the Marikana Toll Plaza and on arrival, they found a total carnage.
According to reports, it is alleged that a motorbike collided head-on with a Datsun resulting in the biker being ejected from the motorbike and landing on the road. Emergency Medical Services were called for assistance and they swiftly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the injuries of the Bike rider were fatal and he was certified dead at the scene, the three occupants inside the vehicle suffered minor injuries and did not need further medical treatment. The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this stage.
Case of culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving have been opened for investigation by the South African Police Service and the details surrounding the incident will be provided as soon as more information is made available.
