Aden Bare Duale is a Kenyan politician who is currently serving as the Cabinet Secretary for Defence in the Kenya Kwanza government. He is the former Member of the National Assembly for Garissa Township Constituency. 

Duale served as the Majority Leader of the National Assembly under the Jubilee Party in the 11th Parliament from 2013 to 2017 and in the 12th Parliament from 2017 to 2020, when he was ousted for perceived disloyalty to former President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Jubilee Party leader. He was elected first in 2007 under the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), but left the party in 2009, teaming up with Ruto to form the United Republican Party.

Aden Duale was born in 1965 in rural Garissa in the North Eastern Region of Kenya. He received his basic education in Garissa. Duale received his Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) from Garissa Primary School in 1981.


Uhuru kenyatta 


Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is the fourth and the former President of Kenya. He previously served in the Government of Kenya as Minister for Local Government from 2001 to 2002, and he was leader of the official opposition from 2002 to 2007.

Uhuru Kenyatta was born on October 26, 1961, to Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the founding father and first President of Kenya.

He went to St. Mary’s School Nairobi before enrolling at Amherst College, Massachusetts, USA, where he graduated with a degree in political science and economics in 1985.

He then went on to study political science and economics at Amherst College in Massachusetts and graduated in 1985. His first foray into politics came in 1997 where he was elected as the chairman of his hometown branch of Kenya African National Union (KANU). Then in 2001, he was nominated for a parliament seat and became Minister of Local Government. After that, he held several government positions including the office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Finance.
