Cabinet Secretaries are clearly afraid to leave their offices amid calls from Gen Z demanding their resignation due to perceived failures in service delivery to the people of Kenya.

The pressure mounted after people questioned the competency of Cabinet Secretaries, citing evidence of them flaunting money shamelessly while ordinary Kenyans suffer. This has led to calls for their disbandment.

President William Ruto delivered an inspiring speech from State House, offering renewed hope to Kenyans who had lost trust in his leadership.

President Ruto highlighted plans to dissolve 47 state corporations with overlapping functions to eliminate operational costs. Employees affected by these closures will be reassigned to other sectors.

He further suspended the appointment of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) and plans to reduce government advisors by 50%. Additionally, budgets for the offices of the First Lady, Deputy President's spouse, and the Prime CS will be removed to redirect funds to other sectors.

After hearing calls from various political leaders, religious figures, and ordinary Kenyans for the disbandment of the Cabinet due to poor governance, Ruto has emphasized that the measures he has implemented will lead to significant changes in the government, which will be announced in due time.

The Cabinet secretaries are now in a state of panic, uncertain about what may transpire in the coming days—whether some will remain in their positions or if entire ministries will be dissolved.

However, some of Ruto's allies, such as Cabinet Secretary for Defense Aden Duale, Head of the Public Service Commission Moses Kuria, and Interior CS Kithure Kindiki, have acknowledged that they would welcome the President's decision if he chooses to remove them.
