Kileleshwa Ward Member of County Assembly Robert Alai has shared a video of a multitude of people reportedly accosting Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi and begging him for money. Sudi had graced an interview in one of the local radio stations when he was accosted outside the premises by a group of people who begged him for money.
His security team had a hard time controlling the crowd. In the video, the group is seen surrounding Oscar Sudi's posh Mercedes Benz and spreading their hands asking for money.
The group consisted of both men and women. Some women were seen singing praises to Sudi after receiving cash handouts.
Sudi had gone for the interview with his security entourage which consisted of a chase car with a siren.
Taking to his X account, Alai claimed that the Kenya Kwanza Government wants to create a country of extreme beggars. ''Sudi leaving radio station. Kenya Kwanza wants to create a country of extreme beggars, '' Alai tweeted.
Sudi has been displaying a flamboyant lifestyle and dishing out millions of shillings in church harambees during weekends, leaving many people wondering about the source of his money as millions of Kenyans continue facing harsh economic times.
