For the last two days, there have been numerous debates regarding whether Kenyans should expect demonstrations on Tuesday or not. This is because some people have been taking to claim that Oenyans should treat Tuesday as a holiday while others have been taking to claim that there should be demonstrations.
Whatever the case, it seems as if Russia is concerned about the safety of its citizens in Kenya. This is after it issued a warning through the Russian Embassy account on X. In a statement typed in the Russian language, the embassy warned its citizens not to visit the central area of Nairobi due to an increased risk of mass demonstrations.
This alert comes barely days after the US embassy issued an alert to its citizens over demonstrations within major towns in Kenya. Although the events that will occur on 2nd July remain to be determined, anyone who might have planned to travel on the specific date might consider rescheduling as no one knows what might happen.
