Long Con? ODM MCA Claims How Uhuru, Gachagua Have United In Secret To Sabotage Raila's AU Bid

Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga criticized President William Ruto's administration for authorizing the deployment of the military to various parts of the country.

Speaking at the burial of comedian Fred Omondi in Siaya County, Raila specifically condemned the judiciary for allegedly permitting the misuse of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader argued that the military's primary role is to defend the country against external threats, not to monitor peaceful protesters.

He further emphasized that the government had failed to address the ongoing unrest and that deploying the military would not resolve the underlying issues.

“The civilian forces have failed to deal with the people. The military is not supposed to be on the streets,” Raila stated.

“The Army is there to defend the country and not to deal with internal strife,” he added. https://www.kenyans.co.ke/news/102165-raila-criticises-ruto-over-nationwide-military-deployment

However, Kileleshwa Member of the County Assembly Robert Alai has disclosed that former President Uhuru Kenyatta believes young people will soon dethrone President William Ruto.

In a Facebook post, Alai claimed that Uhuru has been urging Raila Odinga to abandon his quest for the AU Chairman position, calling him to the UAE to make this plea.

Alai suggested that Uhuru and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have collaborated to encourage leaders, including Raila to support the youth-led protests.

He warned that if Raila supports these protests, it could jeopardize his chances of being elected as AU Chairman, as it might result in fewer African presidents voting for him, thus accusing Uhuru Kenyatta of sabotaging Raila's ambitions.

"Uhuru Kenyatta is convinced that young people will dethrone Ruto soon. The same Uhuru Kenyatta has been calling Baba Raila Odinga to UAE and begging him to discard the AU Chairman quest. Now, it seems that Uhuru Kenyatta and Gachagua have teamed up and planted the idea that leaders, including Baba Raila Odinga, should support the protests by young people.

"Baba's coming out to support these protests will cause few African presidents to vote for him to be the AU Chairman. Someone is sabotaging Baba. Na si mwingine. Ni Uhuru Kenyatta." He wrote on facebook page.
