Members of the SAPS Provincial Organised Crime in Limpopo have arrested a 31-year-old male on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
On Tuesday, 2 July 2024, SAPS members received intelligence information about a suspect driving a white Audi who is suspected of dealing in drugs at Mookgophong Town, police followed up on the given information and they managed to track down the suspect in town.
A thorough search was conducted inside the vehicle and officers discovered packages of kat, crystal, and heroine worth thousands. The drugs and the vehicle used in the commission of crime were seized and the suspect was arrested.
He is currently detained in custody and will soon appear before a local court to face charges of possession and dealing in drugs. Further investigation on this case is still ongoing and the possibility of more charges being added cannot be ruled out at this stage.
