KMPDU has said that reports about stopping the #OccupyMoH protests are not true.
The Union claims that their social media account was hacked, and they are trying to fix it. However, many people online did not believe this explanation.
A lot of people expressed doubt, joking that the union’s excuse was extreme and hard to believe. Anger and frustration were evident, with some calling for bigger political changes and insisting that the protests must go on.
Many were very direct in their responses, telling the union to stop talking and pointing out that the message lacked a hashtag. Some even made fun of the situation by comparing it to famous extreme cases, showing disbelief in the union’s claims.
Some people warned the union, saying they are familiar with such excuses and advised not to make them more upset. Despite the doubt, some still supported the protest, predicting the union's excuse but standing firm in their commitment.
Others compared the union's statement to politicians making false excuses to avoid punishment, suggesting the union was not honest. Some people accused the union of betraying the cause and called for the resignation of senior members.
