This comes, those who were killed during the anti-government protests were laid to rest in different parts of the country. Rex Maasai was the first victim to lose his life in the anti-government protests and was laid to rest at his home in Machakos county. Several leaders have come out to condemn the police for using excessive force, demanding the Independent Police Oversight Authority to take action against rogue cops.
