Githunguri member of parliament Hon. Gathoni wa Muchomba has revealed what she has termed as extra judicial killings witnessed at parliament premises during the anti-finance bill protests.
She said that when the peaceful and unarmed protestors stormed parliament, shocked members of parliament quickly sought safety in secure locations.

She said that while in the company of other MPs who had voted No, the legislators encountered a very nasty scene as they walked out of parliament.
"As we walked towards the gate of parliament, we were forced back to the veranda. We could see men in golden hoods. We couldn't tell if they were police. They knelt down and started shooting at the parliament grills and towards the senate.
We watched with our naked eyes these chilling events that led to the death of unarmed Gen Zs," she said.
Hon. Wamuchomba also revealed that the young people were so brave such that despite the vicious attack, they could collect the bodies of those hit by bullets and place them right infront of the parliament gate.
Hon. Wamuchomba has since advised that a review of government agencies including parliament be done. She said that the mess that led to the death of the youths in this context was brought about by parliament. She added that reshuffling the cabinet will not solve the main issue.
