The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition have today alleged who have been Sponsoring the Gen Z Protests which have been witnessed in Kenya for weeks.

Speaking in a press briefing led by Azimio Principal Kalonzo Musyoka today, the Azimio wing claimed that their have been an attempt by Ruto's government to drag the names of innocent individuals as far as the funding of the Gen Z Protests are concerned.

"On the issues of financing(of Gen Z Protests), there have been struggle by Ruto to assign finances of Gen Z to other individuals," claimed former Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni.

The opposition wing claimed that the Gen Zs who were involved in the protests were being funded by their own parents.

The opposition claimed that it is the parents who have been giving the Gen Zs money for bus fare to and from the protests, and even that for food and data bundles.

The opposition wing also claimed that it is powerful leaders in the government who have been hiring goons to infiltrate the peaceful Gen Z Protests.

They said that it is high time that Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza wing should stop blame games and hiring goons to infiltrate the protests.

"The Gen Zs were being financed by their parents. Money for bus fare to and fro, tea and bundles were being done by their parents. So if you look at who was financing them, go for the parents and stop scapegoating and stop hiring goons," Kioni said during the press briefing.

It is at the same press conference that the opposition wing also revealed that they are in support of calls for Ruto and his team to resign and give way for new leaders.

"What we have now is Ruto Must resign. The executive and the legislative wing should give way. We want radical reforms and not cosmetic and we will even engage the judiciary to help us during this transition," Kioni said.
