Kenyan youths have been complaining about President William Ruto's government and even requesting him to resign. This is due to the increased corruption, abuse of power and mismanagement of public funds.

The youth demonstrated for two weeks against the government and some protestors ended up being injured while others lost their lives.

Yesterday, the youth living around Nairobi assembled at Uhuru park in large numbers to celebrate the Saba Saba Day and commemorate the protestors who lost their lives.

Saba Saba is commemorated yearly to relinquish memories of July 7, 1990 when nationwide protests took place in Kenya in to demand for multiparty democracy.
