Farmers from Laikipia county have been going through various challenges which includes dairy sicknesses which have led to deaths of their cows. Many residents are feared to have gotten depressed due to the loss of their livelihood.
According to Inooro Fm Facebook page, Laikipia County Government is expected to start a three years program to diagnose the residents who might be suffering from mental illnesses. In the report given, the farmers have experienced loss of their livestocks due to various sickness that are caused by change of weather. Majority of the residents are farmers and livestock is their livelihood.
