President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) will be the biggest beneficiary of the political party funds according to the registrar of political parties Ann Nderitu.
According to the first revision done in January 2024, the UDA Party was supposed to receive Ksh 237.8 millions. This has since been revised with the party now set to receive an additional Ksh 79 millions. This therefore means that the ruling party will receive over Ksh 316 millions for the financial year 2023/2024.
The Orange Democratic Movement on the other hand will back home Ksh 168.8M up from Ksh 127M while The Jubilee Party will receive Ksh 74M from Ksh 55.7M respectively.
Wiper Democratic Movement, DAP-Kenya, UDM, ANC and Ford Kenya parties will receive Ksh 39.5M, Ksh.17M, Ksh.14.7M, Ksh 14.6M and Ksh 14M respectively.
The least on the line include KANU and DEP which will receive over Ksh 13M and Ksh 7.5M in that order.
