The use of excessive force including water cannons, teargas canisters, plastic as well as live bullets against unarmed protestors has sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans with majority putting pressure on the incumbent Head of State President William Ruto to resign having been opposed by many across the country.

The vocal roaming chef Dennis Ombachi has mourned innocent children caught in the midst of the protests and fell victims having been shot by rogue police officers. A particular case of an autistic child who was shot several bullets has annoyed many Kenyans with Ombachi vowing that such inhumane acts should neither be forgiven or forgotten.

"Timeless and Tribe-less. That is the spirit of the innocent youth and children being killed for demonstrating peacefully. How do you pump 10 bullets into an autistic child. That’s Evil and we don’t forgive Evil. Bad people can be forgiven and be good people but evil has to be condemned," he wrote on his Twitter page.

Kenyans, local and international humanitarian organisations have been putting pressure on the government to stop arresting, intimidation and shooting innocent protesters. Many people are waiting to see how the Kenyan political landscape will evolve following the heavy resistance against President William Ruto's regime.
