Stand Up South Africa: Sign The Petition To Stop The Extension Of Work Visa By Home Affairs Minister

opera.com 2024/7/15

South Africans have been trying to understand how does a minister in the first day of office go all out to ensure that he protect foreigners rather than South Africans who voted for him to occupy that position. There is high level of unemployment in the country which has been a concern for the longest time. But the minister decided to sign a concession that would see foreigners remaining in the country and continue to occupy opportunities that can be done by South Africans.

It has been made to believe that South Africans are not skilled and now the minister want to keep those skilled worker from other countries. But this could also means that more foreign nationals can be able to come into the country and it will be easy for them to get employed because of the concession that was signed.

There is now a petition out there to stop the minister from extending the work visa for foreigners. This just goes to show that the minister disregard all the efforts that were done by minister Aaron Motsoaledi while he was in home affairs.

South Africa has the highest unemployment in the world but yet you have a minister who would prefer to keep foreigners in their jobs while South Africans live another day to depend on the R350 social grant, which does not help much because the standard of living is just too high to sustain yourself with R350. But it is what South Africans are expected to live on while foreigners continue to earn high salaries in this country. One can says that five years is a long time but it will definitely come and South Africans need to vote wisely and chose who leads the country and who will be able to put them first.
