President Ruto Makes Major Changes In Government Starting With The Removal Of 47 State Corporations

President William Ruto has announced major changes in government with immediate affect after pressure from Kenyans to reduce the heavy burden of tax paying from Kenyans. Addressing Kenyans from State House, President Ruto said that the government will have to reduce the budget by 177 billion shillings.

Here is what president William Ruto has announced that will take place with immediate affect.

1. The appointment of a national debt evaluation panel. The panel will work for three months.

2. Reduction of the budget by Kshs 177 billion shillings. This is after the budget has a deficit of Kshs 346 billion shillings.

3. 47 state corporations to be removed.

4. Governmental consultants reduced by 50 percent.

5. The budgets of the offices of the president's wife, vice president and ministers have been removed.

6. Government employees banned from holding harambee or attending any fundraising event.

President Ruto also said he will borrow money that will help hire Junior Secondary School teachers, medical interns and funding government critical services.
