According to reports by Citizen Digital, who also shared a video of the colorful event, the demonstrators, who are mainly the Gen Z, expressed their deep frustration with the current administration, holding it accountable for the excessive force used by police against peaceful protesters. Many reacted by saying “Ruto must go” and "Zakayo is homing," phrases symbolizing their belief that the end of President Ruto's tenure is near.
