Lawyer Miguna Miguna has come out to react after a report released by the government said that all government officials were going to have a raise in their salaries starting the end of this month. President William Ruto is among the people that are going to have their salaries increased.
According to the document released by the government, president William Ruto currently earns Ksh1,443,750 per month. However, starting this month he will be receiving Ksh1,650,000.
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has however come out to object this revelation by stating that the president earns more that what was written on the document. According to Miguna, Ruto takes home not less than Ksh200 million monthly and this can be evidenced by his expensive outfits that cost millions. Miguna further alleges that Ruto steals some money from the government for himself.
"Silly propaganda. Zakayo earns more than Sh20M per month. He wears watches worth Sh30M each and shoes worth more than Sh2M each. His new hotel in Mombasa is built on public beach and its construction cost Sh3 Billion, all of it stolen." Miguna alleged.
He also said that the cabinet secretaries and Principal secretaries in Ruto's government also steal from the government and have hidden their money abroad in the form of heavy investments.
