Raila Addresses Plan to Lead Protest Against Ruto's Govt

Azimio One Kenya Leader Raila Odinga has clarified report on when he will join Gen Zs in street protests against President William Ruto.

Raila said even though he has not appeared in the streets for the last three weeks, he fully stands with the protesters.

The Opposition leader however said he will go back to streets when his supporters see the need.

Azimio Party Leader rallied behind Gen Zs even as he criticised the police for using excessive force when dealing with unarmed youthful protesters.

Raila on Saturday said he has seen police teargas peaceful protesters during their nationwide anti-government protests.

Raila also called for a dialogue to address current issues.

President Ruto on Friday hosted his inaugural X Space.

After the three-hour session, the President said he has learned a lot from the engagement on X Space, lessons he said he will use to help improve his administration.

"I have gone home with 'I need to listen more, I need more empathy'. My administration needs more empathy and I have heard you say more action," he said.
