The Higher Education Loan Board has this morning sent a message to all Kenyans via their official verified Facebook page, where they have asked employers to care for their employees by remitting the monthly deductions to HELB.
The Higher Education Loan Board has asked all employees to show that they care by logging into the employers portal and sort out those deductions.
To remit your monthly remittance the Higher Education Loan Board has asked employees to follow this steps;
Step 1) Log on to https://www.helb.co.ke/ and you will be supposed to upload the remittance list.
Step 2) Verify the details then click confirm and now you will be supposed to print the e-slip.
Step 3) On the Menu click payment.
Step 4) You will be supposed to choose the remittance record then click make payment.
Step 5) You will receive a pop up screen, you will be supposed to to key in the number to receive e citizen notification then click process payment.
Step 6) Now chose the desired mode and now you can initiate payments.
Step 7) You will be supposed to Quote the invoice number from the eCitizen only when making the payments.
Step 8) Once you complete the payment the record will automatically update.
Step 9) On the menu you will be supposed to click on the statements to be able to view the paid remittances and also be able to generate receipts.
