Tragedy has struck the Naivasha business community following the demise of two prominent businessmen in a grisly road accident.
Samuel Macharia (Mash Dan Dan), the proprietor of Mashwa Spirits industry and Old station guest house, and James Ng'ang'a (Ngash), owner of Option2 club near Buffalo mall, lost their lives in a road crash along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway.

The incident took place when a Range Rover car they were traveling in collided head-on with a trailer at Delamere area.

Reports indicate that four people died in the freak accident, all on the spot, with the Range Rover completely damaged. The occupants of the trailer escaped unscathed in the accident that adversely affected the flow of traffic on the busy road.
The victims were reportedly driving home from a night party when the accident occurred.
Area police chief said initial investigations showed that the driver of the personal car was speeding, adding that further investigations into the accident had been launched. The mangled wrecks were towed to nearby police station for inspection.
