After several Gen Z I arrived at Uhuru Park today to mourn with the families of the deceased who had been killed during the last week of protests in the country. New details have just emerged about what the youths asked President William Ruto to do.
As per the latest updates shared by a well-known source this hour and at the same time circulating on social media, Gen Z has demanded that the government take immediate action and arrest all the police officers who shot live bullets at peaceful protesters.
Also, it has been revealed that Gen Z has asked the government to make sure that all Kenyans who lost their loved ones have received justice.
This just came in after it had been confirmed that more than 20 people lost their lives after police officers shot them as they were protesting. During the protests, several Kenyans also lost their properties after goons looted their businesses in different parts of the country.
Also, some of the deceased who perished during demonstrations have been buried, while others are still in the morgue. Further, during the protests, some of the Gen Z were injured and are still recovering in the hospital.
May the souls of the deceased who lost their lives during protests continue to rest in peace.
Let us hope that the government will do everything possible and make sure that all the police officers who used excessive force are responsible.
