Gabam: Tinubu Must Review Policies or Face 2027 Defeat
During an appearance on a Tv show, Gabam urged Tinubu to review his approach if he hopes to leave a positive legacy. He emphasized the urgency of policy change, stating, “If he wants to leave a legacy, he needs to review some of his policies and rejig his cabinet. I don’t see him surviving another election with the same policies in place.”
Gabam also drew comparisons between the current protests against Tinubu’s government and the ones that occurred during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration in 2012, noting that those protests ultimately contributed to Jonathan’s downfall.
The SDP chairman further accused Tinubu’s government of suppressing opposition voices, claiming that dissent is not tolerated and that any attempt to advise the government is met with hostility. He criticized governors for behaving like emperors and warned that silencing voices of reason would only harm the administration in the long run.
