Noah Okafor joins Napoli as Kvaratskhelia replacement
Napoli has confirmed the signing of AC Milan forward Noah Okafor following the January departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Nigerian-born Switzerland international Okafor joins the Serie A champions on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent. His arrival comes after Georgia's Kvaratskhelia departed for PSG in a deal reportedly worth €70 million ($72 million).
"Welcome Noah," Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis announced on X (formerly Twitter). Before settling on Okafor, De Laurentiis had reportedly pursued Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and Fenerbahce’s Allan Saint-Maximim.
The 24-year-old Okafor has had a challenging season at Milan, scoring just one goal in 11 league appearances since joining from Salzburg in July 2023.
Napoli, currently leading Serie A by three points ahead of second-placed Inter Milan, will host Udinese this Sunday as they aim to maintain their position at the top of the table.
