According to Vanguard, leaders in Taraba State have called on Nigerians to exercise patience with the current government as it tackles the nation's challenges. They also encouraged the Muslim Ummah to practice tolerance and urged the government to promote initiatives that foster peaceful coexistence.

Speaking after Eid prayers, Taraba State Deputy Governor Aminu Alkali emphasized the importance of peace. "Peace is a panacea to living comfortably. That is why, in the spirit of Sallah, I urge everyone to live peacefully with one another," he said.

Alhaji Garba Chede, a former member of the House of Representatives for Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency, echoed the call for patience. "We all need to be patient because this present government under Bola Tinubu has inherited many problems. I believe with patience, things are going to be fine at the end of the day. By then, we will all be able to go to our farms without fear and all our businesses will thrive," Chede stated.

HRH Maigandi Kaigama, Chief of Kaigama Kam, appealed to the government for a reduction in diesel prices to support farmers. "The majority of us here are farmers, and most of the challenges confronting us can be traced to the high cost of diesel. In the spirit of Sallah, we are appealing to the federal government to facilitate a downward review of the price of diesel. If this is done, the farmers will be happy, and Nigerians will also be happy when the prices of food items drop," he said.

Kaigama also stressed the need for national unity. "As Nigerians, we should also be united. With oneness and unity, we will be able to confront all these challenges," he concluded.
