How I Stole My Girlfriend's Sister -Suspect
In an interview with TVC News,In a shocking revelation, the Delta State Police Command has paraded two suspects linked to the heartbreaking murder of a 10-year-old girl. This distressing announcement was made in a video released on Monday by Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, and was subsequently made available to TVC News.
In the video, SP Bright Edafe detailed the harrowing events surrounding the case. He explained that the male suspect, motivated by deceit, manipulated one of the triplets, a sister to his girlfriend. “He took her to meet two unknown men, where they used a machete to kill the little girl,” he stated emphatically. “They promised to give him ₦200,000, but even the ₦200,000, he didn’t see.”
SP Edafe, who introduced himself as “I am SP D Bri,” expressed the gravity of the situation. He said, "This is D State Police command. Today, we will be interviewing two suspects, and what they did is sad, especially the male one among them."
The tragic circumstances escalated when SP Edafe elaborated on the relationship dynamics involved in this case. The male suspect was the boyfriend of a girl who has triplet sisters. He had asked his girlfriend if he could “use” one of her sisters. The girlfriend reportedly declined, but as the SP noted, “she did not raise alarm; she did not report to either her parents or the community or the police.”
As fate would have it, later that day, one of the triplet sisters went missing. The host of the segment explained, “Later that same day, the child—one of the children—went missing. They are both all females. One of them went missing, and when they started looking for this child, that was when the girlfriend now realized that, ‘ah, but this guy said he wanted to use one of my sisters.’ She now raised alarm, told her parents, who informed the community, and they went and looked for this guy and arrested him.”
Further investigations revealed the male suspect's chilling confession. He admitted to leading the child to two unknown accomplices, who had offered him either ₦200,000 or ₦300,000 for his involvement. As the host grimly recounted, at **01:14**, “They have not even given him the money. He took the child and went to them; they used a machete on this baby and killed the baby. Up to this very moment, we can’t even find the remains of the baby.”
This case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting issues of safety and the dire consequences of deceit. The Delta State Police Command continues to investigate the incident, urging the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
