According to a video that was posted on the official X account of News Central Tv on Friday, the Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams has stated that he has never seen a President that announced the removal of fuel subsidy on inauguration day.
Gani Adams said he was not happy when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the removal of the fuel subsidy during his inaugural speech.
Speaking about the letter that he wrote to the President, Gani Adams said his letter was not to challenge Tinubu but to ask for accountability and a better future for the people of Nigeria.
According to Gani Adams;
"I was not happy the way the President removed subsidy totally because from the history of Nigeria, I have never seen a President that just came to power in the day of inauguration and announced that he removed subsidies totally".
