Tinubu: The government must avoid making thoughtless comments about other countries–Atiku Abubakar
Atiku’s statement came in response to a post by Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Public Communication and Orientation, on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, Dare dismissed a recent gathering of opposition figures and dissenting members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as a politically motivated move driven by Machiavellian interests. He asserted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remained “undistracted and unperturbed” by such gatherings, framing the upcoming political contests as a “combat” and a “fight” in preparation for the 2027 elections.
He said: “The government must focus on uniting and healing the nation, and avoid making thoughtless comments about other countries or questioning the patriotism of the Nigerian people.”
